Marisa Abela Wore Emilia Wickstead To The ‘Black Bag’ London Screening

Is it just me, or did the cast of Black Bag look like they were heading to three completely different events while attending the London screening on Tuesday? The fashion cohesion was… nonexistent, not that it had to be, but at least it made for an interesting red carpet.

Cate Blanchett was serving up high-fashion energy as if she was attending an avant-garde gala where only the most experimental looks were welcome. Whatever she was channeling, it certainly wasn’t the same memo Naomie Harris received, because Naomie looked like she was off to her rebellious sweet 16 party—ready to roll her eyes at the DJ for playing the cha-cha slide.

And then we have Marisa Abela, who went in a completely different direction, wearing a chocolate brown Emilia Wickstead shirt and an ankle-length pencil skirt that, if not for the embellished tie (a signature from the Spring 2025 collection), could’ve easily been mistaken for something plucked straight from a high-powered executive’s work wardrobe. That’s not to say I don’t like it—you all know how I feel about brown, and I love how the structured silhouette adds an understated elegance—but it’s fascinating how the cast’s style couldn’t have been more opposite.

A super sleek ponytail and yet another safe pair of black pumps rounded out Marisa’s look.
