It all started in the Swiss Alps with retired athlete, Olivier Bernhard, who wanted to create a shoe that would offer an entirely new underfoot feeling. In the spirit of experimentation, Olivier glued pieces of garden hose to the outsole of a trainer and the rest is history.

New to the On lineup, the Cloudvista 2 has been reengineered with more cushioning, comfort and a more pronounced rocker motion that makes walking a pleasure. Lightweight and minimal, this lifestyle silhouette is ideal for outdoor adventures or running errands in the city – wherever the day takes you, the design will ensure lasting comfort.
You can usually pick out an On Running design from the crowd thanks to its recognisable sole units, which each house patented CloudTec. For the Cloudvista 2, the midsole contains a new springy Speedboard with a minimalist two-pronged design that offers a responsive energy return and that famous cloud-like feeling. Anchoring the design is an upgraded ultra-sticky Missiongrip rubber outsole, that keeps you steady and avoids any slipping on rocky trails and wet pavements.
