The New Balance 1906R has shown no signs of slowing down any time soon. While collaborations dominate sneakerhead consciousness, the model has also built a reputation for having some of the best general release colorways on the market, with the Boston brand bringing an ensemble of unique materials and blocking schemes to the 1906R and its various offshoots.
The latest addition to the Fall 2024 docket is a minty fresh “New Spruce/Pink Granite” colorway, arriving this September. Standard grey and “Silver Metallic” overlays go about business as usual, but there’s plenty of intrigue worth noting. Although you might not recognize it from a distance, the base is comprised of “Pink Granite” mesh as opposed to your typical white fabric, adding a bit of softness to the look. The heel and back portion of the midsole, however, immediately catch the eye. Both come painted in “New Spruce” teal to match the quarter logo, fulfilling a well-balance color variety. Otherwise, the shoes come with cream laces in alignment with the front portion of the midsole.
New Balance hasn’t set a firm release date yet, but as mentioned, these are expected to hit shelves September 2024 for $155. Enjoy official images below and stay tuned for further updates.
Sticking with the model at hand, The Basement x New Balance 1906R releases August 22nd.
