Nicole Kidman joined her co-star Joey King on the red carpet for the Los Angeles premiere of Netflix’s ‘A Family Affair’ held at The Egyptian Theatre Hollywood on Thursday in Los Angeles, California.
I have a feeling we might see a divide on this Gucci Fall 2024 strapless bustier gown on Nicole.
Some might appreciate that she avoided the brown runway version, but others may feel that the nude shade is too close to her skin tone, making the dress appear less detailed.
There will also be those who admire the gown’s simplicity but are divided on the addition of the choker.
I’m glad she opted to retain the choker as it prevents the look from feeling too monotone.
I also love how this look evoked memories of her appearance at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival, where she wore a Gucci by Tom Ford dress styled with a statement choker.
Whether intentional or not, this nod to her past looks added an element of nostalgia for me.
