The Air Jordan 4 universe is set to expand to new dimensions in 2024 with the debut of the “Restomod”, an updated version of the 1989 classic. As it turns out, Nigel Sylvester’s anticipated collaboration is in fact this modified update, and first looks at the upcoming collaboration have just surfaced online.
This best look yet at the Air Jordan 4 RM reveals a slightly lowered height and a revamped upper design. With the exception of the toe-guard that wraps from mid-foot to mid-foot, the Air Jordan 4 RM is almost an entirely new sneaker as it features a updated TPU exterior frame that aligns with the lowermost and uppermost lace eyelet. It extends around the heel in a Huarache-esque manner, housing the famed Nike Air logo at the heel.
Nigel’s own spin on this upcoming release infuses his biking expertise, swapping out the iconic Nike Air for “Bike Air”. The shortened tongue logo also reads “Bike Air Jordan”, which leads us to believe that the general release versions of the Air Jordan 4 RM will read the proper Nike. Finally, a mini Swoosh appears at the forefoot — another personal favorite detail of Nigel’s as evident across his collaborations with Jordan.
Currently, a release is expected on July 3rd, 2024 with a $150 MSRP. Check out the Jordan Release Dates 2024 page for the latest developments.
Keeping to proper Air Jordan models, the Jordan 4 “Military Blue” is set to release on May 4th.
