While new patterns and gradients have brought fresh energy to the Nike Air Max Dn in recent months, a specific experimental build has caught our attention most. First unveiled with a Size? exclusive pair before a wide launch for an all-red edition, the yet-unnamed tweak to “Dynamic Air” is making another entrance with a “Light Bone” colorway.
For the uninitiated, the tweaks come with a wavier graphic print on the upper, a new toe-cap panel and two rear pull-tabs. While it isn’t a compositional choice, each of the pairs that have utilized this look so far have swapped from reflective soles to matte ones, particularly striking with this “Light Taupe” paint job that evokes hiking-inspired models like the Vomero 5 Roam.
While we’d like to think our personal taste goes a long way, note that the public reception to this retooled silhouette has been equally warm. The aforementioned size? pair is one of only a few Air Max Dn releases to command a hefty resale premium. It’s yet to be seen whether this “Light Bone” colorway will reach the same status, but you won’t have to wait long to find out. The Nike Air Max Dn “Light Bone” releases via SNKRS on November 12th, retailing for $180.
