Nike Air Max Flyknit Venture “Vintage Green/Light Army” FD2110-300

The Nike Air Max Flyknit Venture is a collision of two defining Nike technologies, but in practice, its composition is far more experimental than even that logline could project. Merging outdoorsy aesthetics with comfort hardware, the silhouette has been somewhat restrained in its colorways so far, only marking about half a dozen looks in almost a year on the shelves. The latest, led by army tones of “Vintage Green,” leans into the wonkiness of its hardware with a layered, multicolored arrangement.

It’s not quite a gradient look, as the militaristic olive tones take up most of the real estate. However, a stripe of lilac in the upper, a hexagonal interruption of “Gum” in the sole, and anchoring in jet black, all metered throughout the profile, make for a true sense of depth in this release. If you’re unfamiliar with the Air Max Flyknit Venture in general, look to the collar to see some of the clashing aesthetics that it combines. Pronounced pockets of cushioning Flyknit appear next to multiple polka-dot pull tabs, an execution that reflects how Nike is bringing what was once reserved for easy wear into a hardened, outdoorsy environment.

As mentioned above, the Nike Air Max Flyknit Venture “Vintage Green” is now available via Nike.com for women’s sizing, carrying a $180 retail price. Hit the links under “Where To Buy” to grab yours if you’re so inclined.

Elsewhere on Beaverton’s upcoming schedule, the Lil Yachty Air Force 1 releases on December 2nd.
