The Nike Air Max Goadome is a true “if you know, you know” sort of shoe. While consumer demand doesn’t bring it to the level of a year-in, year-out sight on the shelves, Beaverton has brought the air-filled boot with some regularity around Winter. After skipping 2023, the Goadome style of choice this year is a combo of “White/Gum,” coming soon to Nike.

Smooth, simplified leather panels make for a no-nonsense overall profile, that matte look only interrupted by perforations towards the toe-box and on the collar. Bringing the weather-resistant model towards Nike SB sensibilities is a dose of gum on the outsole, complementarily matched by earthy eyestays. Darkened Air bubbles in the midsole round out this pair’s look.
Given gorpcore as an aesthetic has shot up in the past few years, it’s a double edged sword for the Goadome; there’s more competition, but the ACG curio is suddenly on-trend once again. We’ll have to wait and see if potential renewed energy around it prompts Nike to bring out additional colorways for the colder weather ahead, but for now, look out for the NIke Air Max Goadome in “White/Gum” this Fall/Winter ($180.)
