For many consumers, attainable classics like the Nike Blazer Low can be a gateway to full-on sneaker obsession. While the model doesn’t command much attention from seasoned sneakerheads due to its longstanding presence, you’d be pressed to come up with a more generally accepted “fashionable” sneaker that both fanatics and casual consumers call upon for every day wear.
Taking aim at the vintage niche, this Blazer Low ’77 opts for “Light Bone” hairy suede up top and a “Dark Spruce” Swoosh and backtab, channeling an agreeable, somewhat collegiate aesthetic. As is standard, we also see Nike branding circa 1977 on the heel and an exposed foam tongue.
Something a bit odd to note; the tongue tag is inconsistent in the official image gallery. The top view, for example, displays “Dark Spruce” typography and a traditional orange Swoosh, while other shots portray a purple Swoosh. Looking at past colorways, however, we can safely deduce that the shoes feature the standard orange tongue logo.
A valid addition to autumn rotations of all distictions, the Nike Blazer Low ’77 “Light Bone/Dark Spruce” will be available Fall 2024 for $100. Scroll through detailed images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse other upcoming deliveries out of Beaverton.
