Nike Dunk Low Women’s “Vintage Tennis” FB7910-100

While the Nike Dunk Low began as a basketball shoe, anyone with an interest in sneakers will know that those original intentions haven’t restricted the silhouette’s later stages. Spending time as a skate staple and a lifestyle shoe as well, it’s has worn plenty of hats throughout its decades on the shelf. So what’s stopping it from adding another? The latest edition of the Nike Dunk Low embraces vintage tennis aesthetics, including in its branding.

The retro Nike Tennis logo that stands front-and-center on the tongue is both the most intriguing edition and the guiding light for this design. Pallete-wise, that iconography is matched by deploying blue and green in moderate fashion, dotting the Swoosh, outsole, sockliner and heel tab. Outside of that, the profile is dominated by neutral greys and whites, particularly brilliant on the tongue. That section swaps to mesh for this release, an aesthetic choice and no doubt a performance one to mirror the material’s prevalence on the court.

Though neither a release date nor a retail price has been confirmed for this Nike Dunk Low, expect a drop in the coming weeks for this women’s release.
