You might’ve noticed by now that Nike is pushing snakeskin prints across a number of its in-line casual lifestyle models for 2025. From the staple icons like the Air Max 1 and Air Force 1 to more recent classics like the Field General 82, the exotic material will be as ubiquitous as ever.
From the gridiron to the catwalk, the Field General ’82 has managed to infiltrate the world of sports-rooted lifestyle fashion with ease. With a slimmed-down, low-profile aesthetic, the Field General–once worn by the likes of Dan Marino–has become a popular pick for those concerned with daily head-to-toe looks, which is why Nike is offering a fancy take on the retro model.
Three colorways appear with suede uppers and sport mesh underlays, with each of the three options boasting its own coloring of a classic rattlesnake-like pattern. A fit for high-end hand-bags and cost-effective sneakers, snakeskin print manages to win the day yet again.
All three are expected to hit Nike.com this Spring 2025 for $110 apiece.
