One individual in Queens, NY was willing to give up a used car to secure a pair, hitting the Craigslist wanted ads to find someone who was willing to give up wheels for wheels. In the spirit of bartering, Nike NYC has announced the Air Foamposite One Galaxy Trading Post, giving select New Yorkers an opportunity to trade a personal belonging for a pair of the hotly-coveted shoes.
For a chance to participate in this rare trade opportunity, you can sign up HERE. Here’s what’s prohibited from trades: illegal goods, weapons, controlled substances, drugs, animals, vehicles, or food items. You’ll have to get creative because being selected will not guarantee you a trade.
This is obviously not the first time two consenting individuals agreed on a sneaker trade; there have been instances in which a pair of Air Jordan 13 “Flint” was exchanged for a German Shepherd puppy.
