With the running category at an all-time high, posting numbers in the low eleven figures last year, brands are having to get inventive with how they appeal to trail trekkers and road runners. Nike pulled an unconventional move earlier this year, bringing back a last decade favorite with the Nike Lunar Roam, spotlighting Lunarlon technology for the first time in about ten years. As the Lunar Roam becomes a more & more frequent sight on store shelves, Beaverton is dipping into familiar territory for a “Summit White” colorway.
The heavy doses of jet black and pure “Summit White” combine can only mean one thing in current sneaker parlance: “Panda.” Printed layers of “Smoke Grey” are the only thing that interrupt this greyscale arrangement, underlining the Magwire anchoring that enhances the Lunar Roam’s on-road performance. While the astronaut-inspired hardware was created with running in mind, the pillowy on-foot feel certainly makes for a suitable daily driver, and in this black-and-white look, this an incredible easily-styled option.
The Nike Lunar Roam “Summit White” hits shelves this Fall, retailing for $150. Enjoy official images below and keep watch for more info via our Sneaker Release Dates landing page.
