Nike Basketball continues to build on success of the “Greater Than” series with new cost-conscious models, delivering the performance utility of tentpoles like the Cut 3 and Hustle 2 at a more attainable price point. The Cut Academy is already a part Nike Basketball’s core selection, and the Hustle Academy and Cut Cross are next in tow, both of which are expected to arrive in several colorways throughout Fall/Winter 2024.
The Cut Cross was first released in a “Barely Grape” colorway earlier this summer, but save for two Asia-exclusive camo pairs, we’ve yet to get a follow-up. Even still, that hasn’t stopped new designs from populating the newswire. This one features a light grey upper and “Bright Crimson” across the toe, comprising a versatile, team-friendly look. From a performance standpoint, the Cut Cross is tailored to hoopers who execute step-backs and backdoor cuts, supported by herringbone traction and Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot.
The Nike Zoom GT Cut Cross “Light Grey/Bright Crimson” is expected to arrive Fall 2024 for a sensible $110 MSRP. See official images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates hub to preview more upcoming hoops shoes by the Swoosh and co.
Staying on the Nike Basketball beat, the Giannis Freak 6 debuts August 16th in several colorways.
