Demand for models like the Nike Dunk Low and Air Force 1 has died down and been replaced by the Beaverton brand’s 2000s-era running styles, led of course by the Vomero 5. The shoe’s current retro run, which began in 2022, has afforded countless new colorways and even a weatherized offshoot in the Vomero 5 Roam, broadening its horizons while cementing the shoe’s status as a go-to for Y2K fashion fans.

Official images now reveal a new “Alabaster” colorway for Spring 2025, adding another to the contemporary pool of releases we’ve seen in recent memory. Nike designers opt for suede overlays as opposed to leather here, complete with a “Pale Ivory” base and Swoosh. In adding some contrast, the cage, heel counter, lining, and portions of the outsole all come in black.
The Vomero 5 “Alabaster” doesn’t have a solid release date yet, but as mentioned, these are expected to hit shelves in the first quarter of 2025. Expect the usual $160 retail price if you’re interested in copping.
