Samuel Ross showed off the versatile design and function capabilities of the Zoom Vomero 5 via his collaboration. Although it seems that A-COLD-WALL* won’t be reprising their collaboration, Nike has taken it upon themselves to beef up the popular tech runner for alternate routes and trails.
The Zoom Vomero 5 Roam is a new trail-ready iteration of the high-performance running shoe. It’s extensively armored thanks to the rugged outsole with a stability-focused wider base than the original and an exterior foxing that wraps around the entirety of the shoe. Added heel-tabs and tongue-tabs provide additional handles to slip the shoe on, while hiking-style speed-lacing allow you to lock in and out with ease.
Based on the revealed colorways, Nike is sticking with monochromatic make-ups for the first wave of the Vomero 5 Roam. In additional to the white and tan pairs already revealed, we can now show you an all-black iteration that features just a hit of Racer Blue on the outsole and interior foot-bed.
Firm release details are not yet know, but an early Holiday 2024 drop on Nike.com for $180 can be anticipated.
