I wonder if Paul Mescal thought that Pedro Pascal would come to more of these, and he figured Pedro would bring the flash and the zip, and that he — Paul — could cruise by with just a little gentle weirdness, like the oversize collar-stay and this strange “vest” that looks like a cardigan he grabbed from Forever 21in an extra-small. Other than those little touches, it’s been a very statement-light wardrobe and kind of a boring press tour. As a PERSON I respect that he’s resisting the urge to go haywire, but as a fashion blogger I definitely wish he were wearing pants made of hot-air balloons. Yes, plural.
