Much like Walt “Clyde” Frazier himself, the Puma Clyde has been a symbol of street style and “old school cool” for decades. Puma celebrated the model’s 50th anniversary with a slate of collabs and GR deliveries last year, and while releases have slowed a bit in 2024, new colorways have kept on surfacing, albeit sporadically.

This latest pair wears a “Spectra Green” base and “Frosted Ivory” Formstrip, comprising a minty-fresh aesthetic on the retro basketball turned lifestyle shoe. As with most low-top Puma classics, we see a liberal use of suede throughout, a once heavily-favored material composition on basketball shoes of the 1970s. The Puma Clyde shares a silhouette with the somewhat more well-know Puma Suede, although its a tad slimmer and boasts a slightly different Formstrip and cushioning system.
Pairs release via Puma on July 1st for $110 in unisex sizing. See detailed images below and tap our Sneaker Release Dates page to preview more upcoming drops.
