I do appreciate Ryan Reynolds making an effort with his clothes. Truly. Thank you for not being a slob, Ryan. But his style is never quite right for me. It’s meticulously planned and executed, but also… off; styled without the result actually looking stylish. Like, why is this denim vest there? Why is his sweater short enough and his rise low enough that it’s flashing his underwear? Isn’t this jacket way too small? The measurements here seem weird, too, and the garments here hang so limply on him. I can’t entirely tell what this outfit is, but the jacket does not go with it. It’s a GOOD jacket, and I enjoy it, but the context is all wrong. These things all seem like they’d be easy fixes, and you’d think someone who cares as much as he clearly does would fix them. I guess he’s busy writing angry emails to Justin Baldoni and then deleting them before he accidentally sends one.
