On Thursday, Serena Williams attended her official 2024 ESPY Awards After-Party—after hosting the sports awards show—in a summery, sporty look with a touch of glam, as she does best.
The 23-time Grand Slam tennis champion paired a mint green mini-dress with a diamond necklace and white Nike Air Force 1 “Shadow” sneakers with blush pink piping. The Shadow model of the classic Nike kicks features an exaggerated midsole to give the shoes an extra boost along with layered overlays.
Williams has been sponsored by Nike since 2003, and their sneakers remain a wardrobe classic of hers on and off the court. Her style is bold, colorful and feminine with a sporty touch. When she’s not rocking a wide range of fresh Nike sneakers, she often opts for bright pumps, sparkly sandals or tall boots.
In 2022, the Serena Williams Design Crew, a collective that pairs up-and-coming designers with Nike mentors, created the Serena Williams x Women’s Air Force 1 kicks in pure Lapis blue and Summit white. These monochrome sneakers were designed by Bruce Kilgore.
The Nike Air Force 1 is the brand’s best-selling model of all-time, and was first debuted in 1982 as their first basketball sneaker with their patented cushioning Air technology. The silhouette, designed by Bruce Kilgore, was inspired by hiking boots to lesson the impact of running and jumping on concrete.

After hosting the 2024 ESPY Awards, the tennis star and Wyn Beauty founder kept the party going at glitzy West Hollywood restaurant Delilah. Ciara, Russell Wilson, Vanessa Bryant, Linsey Vonn and Livvy Dunne also attended the fête, which featured a DJ set from rap superproducer Mustard.
Williams walked the ESPY Awards red carpet with her husband Alexis Ohanian and their daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. Her daughter wore a cute kid’s version of trendy metallic sandals, while her husband paired his suit with mint green Nikes.
