While I’ve been deep-diving into Oscars and Vanity Fair Oscar Party fashion, Simone Ashley has been quietly dropping look after look from Monday while promoting her new Prime Video rom-com, Picture This. With five outfits and counting, she’s reclaiming her reign as the queen of romance—this time, on the big screen.

If you had déjà vu and thought of Mindy Kaling’s Hollywood Walk of Fame dress, you’re not alone. Simone’s look from the Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2025 Couture collection shares a similar fluted-skirt silhouette, but her addition of an oversized blazer gives it a completely different energy. If you’re thinking, why the blazer? This is peak London-girl nonchalance, like she just threw it on while heading out the door. The result? A mix of glamour and structure that feels effortlessly cool.

By Wednesday, Simone had hopped across the pond, and her legs were the main event in an The Attico ensemble. Another blazer moment? Yes, but this time, it’s plaid with a double-looped grommet belt that some might feel is making the silhouette feel bulkier than it should be. Personally, I love the unique single-lapel design and the warm brown tones against her skin. Brown leather peep toes from Jude completed her look.

Later in the day, Simone leaned into stylish comfort with a white tee, an Alexander McQueen chambray skirt, and a standout Alexander McQueen Fall 1996 Mongolian fur coat. This coat is the entire moment. It’s giving 90s supermodel meets street-style star, adding instant drama to an otherwise simple outfit. A pair of Jennifer Fisher yellow gold Samira Micro Huggies completed the look along with the same brown Jude mules and Kimeze Zawe chocolate cat-eye sunglasses.

For her second archival look of the tour, Simone stepped out in an early 2000s Donna Karan ivory dress that feels like it was made for her. Donna Karan’s signature stretch fabrics sculpt and drape her figure effortlessly, while the floral shoulder detail and flowing skirt ensure that this look was the definition of modern femininity. Yvonne Léon jewels provided the perfect finishing touch.

Starting off today with yet more press, Simone embraced a sleek blackout moment in Brandon Maxwell’s The Black Larissa backless midi dress from the Spring 2025 collection. The leather bib detail gives the look a chic edge up the look, and with her shades and thonged leather sandals amplifying the mood. Once again, Yvonne Léon jewels provided a little sparkle to top things off.
