Well, as sadly predicted, we didn’t get a Swift sighting during the Christmas Day game (and we didn’t see the Steelers offense either, ZING). As if to make up for that small outfit void, we got two date nights in New York instead. Above, we have Taylor in a really good coat from Simkhai — I’m happy to see that brand getting some love — and Travis in an all-red ensemble and a damned trucker cap, looking like Santa’s ne’er-do-well nephew who wants to take over the business and says things like, “We need Crunk Claus.” Losing the hat, tucking in the shirt, and getting the pants to lie correctly would go a long way. He IS capable. He looks quite nice here (click that for another view if this embed doesn’t work):
Again with the hat. He must REALLY not be sure about the longer hair he’s attempting right now. But the rest of that is much better, and sorta snuggly, and HER blazer — Stella McCartney, costs a fortune — frankly looks great on her. Between that and the coat she wore to the last Chiefs home game, Taylor’s made three solid picks in a row now, which is definitely not always a given. And while Travis is not quite the fashion plate he may believe himself to be, I appreciate that he tries, even if he also should rethink his lids. I said in the Vogue predict-a-cover post that I think Anna Wintour is dying to get them to host the Met Gala as a pair, and I stand by it.
