Jury member Taylor Russell made her second appearance on the red carpet for the ‘Maria’ premiere during the Venice International Film Festival this evening, and this time, she truly dazzled.
Stepping out in a custom Loewe pale yellow silk crepon strapless draped dress, Taylor delivered a look that was instantly captivating. I have to say, I love this dress a thousand times more than the Chanel gown she wore the night before.
Last night’s Chanel gown seemed overwhelming for her petite frame. In stark contrast, tonight’s Loewe creation allowed Taylor’s natural beauty to shine through. The dress, with its soft draping and fluid silhouette, felt like a breath of fresh air—a look that was all about romance and grace rather than a forced attempt at creating a viral moment.
The pièce de résistance was the dramatic detail that draped from her neck down her back. At first glance, it appeared to be a scarf, but upon closer inspection, it was clear this beautiful feature was actually part of the dress. As Taylor glided down the red carpet, this piece billowed elegantly behind her, adding a sense of movement and ethereal charm to her look. It’s details like this that make a gown memorable, and Loewe certainly delivered on that front.
The open back of the dress was another masterful choice, providing the perfect canvas to showcase her Tiffany pendant, which delicately cascaded down her back.
Completing her look were a Tiffany bracelet, Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany ear clips, and a ring in platinum and 18k yellow gold, which added just the right amount of sparkle and sophistication. Matching pale yellow sandals finished off this inch-perfect look.
Honestly, I wouldn’t change a single thing. Taylor struck the perfect balance between simplicity and elegance. Her look tonight was all about subtlety, romance, and letting her natural beauty take center stage—a refreshing departure from the overly dramatic ensembles from last night.
Are you as enamoured by this look as I am?
