Macy’s 2024 Thanksgiving Day Parade included a number of new floats as well as performers. With numbers by Kylie Minogue, T-Pain, Chloe Bailey, Coco Jones as well as Michelle Williams who did a Thanksgiving take on her opening number from Broadway’s “Death Becomes Her,” the parade boasted a variety of floats. Snoopy, the longest running character balloon in the parade’s history was there. As was one for Dora the Explorer. In 2005 Dora made her debut in the parade as the first Latina as the central figure in a float. This year marked her return.

Minnie is also the tallest balloon this year. Smokey Bear celebrated its 80th anniversary by returning to the parade this year.  There were reportedly 34 floats and 22 balloons. The Macys Parade Studio Team includes around 27 members.
