Fashion week tends to favor form over function. Whether the forecast is predicting 90 degrees and humid or a polar vortex, the professionally well-dressed will wear that cool leather blazer (and not much else) like their life (or their follower count) depends on it.
That said, fashion insiders have also been known to exhibit gloriously crafty displays of weather-ready layering: tees, jackets, sweaters, and scarves evenly dispersed like the meticulous laminated layers of a fine French croissant. And thankfully, it appeared that the patron saint of bonkers cold-weather stacking—Succession’s fictional billionaire hermit shareholder Josh Aaronson, as portrayed by Adrian Brody—was, indeed, presiding over this most recent Paris Fashion Week.
