Tilda Swinton and Julianne Moore continued their yin-and-yang dynamic during the Paris premiere of ‘The Room Next Door’ at Pathe Palace on Monday. Their contrasting styles have been a defining feature of this press tour, and this appearance was no exception.
Tilda, as expected, turned to Chanel, wearing a satin top and trousers from the Spring 2025 collection. While the look might seem flat in photos, it’s the movement that made it memorable. The delicate tulle trimmings brought a sense of drama to the outfit as she walked the red carpet hand-in-hand with Julianne.
Julianne, meanwhile, stuck to her minimalist preferences, opting for a white dress from The Row. The design exuded effortlessness, with its languid neckline and subtle twisted shoulder detail adding quiet sophistication. If you missed those micro details, it was probably because her Ana Khouri Pearl Laurence earrings were stealing your attention.
This press tour has been a bit of a mixed bag overall—not as cohesive as I would have hoped. But if this premiere marks its conclusion, both women ensured it ended on a high note.
Tilda’s unconventional elegance and Julianne’s minimalist refinement feel perfectly emblematic of their respective styles. While their looks may have differed drastically, together they once again proved their unmatched sartorial synergy.
