Tracee Ellis Ross attended the New Museum’s 2024 Spring Gala held at Cipriani South Street on Wednesday in New York City.
We got a few hints during awards season, but I think it is safe to say that Tracee’s quiet girl, project, experimentation – whatever you want to label it as – era over.
Ironically, just as I was starting to accept it as her new normal.
But when you are a born maximalist, who would have seen her mother Diana Ross perform in elaborate gowns and costumes her whole life, it was only a matter of time before Tracee reverted to type.
And she did so in spectacular fashion wearing a look from the Marni Fall 2024 collection.
At first glance, this turtleneck sleeveless dress appears feathered, but on closer inspection her dress features finger paint swirls which gives new meaning to the phrase, wearable art.
No one sells Marni quite like Tracee.
