We haven’t seen Vanessa Kirby on the red carpet since November when she was promoting ‘Napoleon,’ so it was a delightful surprise to see her make an appearance during Comic-Con this weekend, where she was promoting her upcoming film, ‘Fantastic Four,’ in which she will play Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman in the Marvel reboot.
When I think of Hervé Léger, PVC doesn’t usually spring to mind, but I have to keep reminding myself of how much the brand has evolved since Kim Kardashian (and practically every celebrity) made the iconic bandage dress their red carpet uniform back in the 2010s. Vanessa’s look—incorporating her much-worn colours, black and red—showcases the evolution of Hervé Léger, demonstrating the brand’s ability to adapt to the changing fashion landscape while honouring its heritage of fitted silhouettes and signature allure.
This appearance also marks a fresh look for Vanessa, who tends to keep everything understated until the big premieres. However, va-va-Vanessa came out to play early this time, making a bold statement at Comic-Con with her stunning and daring outfit.
‘Fantastic Four’ is set to release in July 2025.
