Ever since the late great Franca Sozzani took up the mantle of Vogue Italia back in 1988, the magazine has been synonymous with Steven Meisel. To celebrate the magazine’s monumental 60th anniversary with the release of the September 2024 issue, Italian Vogue’s current leader Francesca Ragazzi brilliantly brings back Meisel for a series of commemorative, celebratory and highly-collectible covers. Ragazzi called upon none other than Linda Evangelista, Vittoria Ceretti, Deva Cassel, Isabella Rossellini, Mariacarla Boscono and Maty Fall as cover stars for the occasion. The iconic lineup each pose for Meisel in their respective portrait cover shots, compete with styling from Joe McKenna who opted for looks from Gucci, Miu Miu, Giorgio Armani, Bottega Veneta, Prada and Loro Piana.
