My family are movie buffs. We love a good film and getting ahead of the new ones this year has been on our list for the holiday season. Our family does a mix of old movies and new. When it comes to the holiday spirit, my family is all about new and old films. We have all the different streaming services to try to get access to all of these great movies this season. The true meaning of Christmas is spending time together. We get some hot cocoa and a countdown to the days of Christmas with holiday movies. We’re spreading holiday cheer and checking out the North Pole this holiday season! It’s the most wonderful time of the year! There are tons of holiday movies in just about every genre for the whole family to enjoy.
I have begun a recent obsession with the Hallmark channel and have really been enjoying the Hallmark Christmas movies lately. They’re great to have on during the day and a nice way to unwind at night. They launch new movies all the time and this season is no exception. There are plenty of choices and who doesn’t love ea small town love story for the best holiday film?
Holiday Movies
The Polar Express- This kids film is a magical holiday story about a young boy who embarks on a mystical train ride to the North Pole. This is where he discovers the true meaning of Christmas. Holidate – Sloane and Jackson are tired of being single and attending special events alone. They decide to make a pact to be each other’s platonic plus one’s for a whole year. This cute romantic comedy is an easy watch with all the holiday vibes.
The Christmas Chronicles 1 & 2 – After losing their fire fighter father Kate and Teddy’s  mom is having a tough time making ends meet. She has to work on Christmas eve. Kate and Teddy decide to capture Santa on camera! What happens next takes us all on a holiday plot twist! This movie is so cute you’ll be watching the 2nd in no time!
Dash & Lily – Dash and Lily use a notebook to share dreams, dares, and desires. These quickly turn in a whirlwind holiday romance. I love that this movie takes place in NYC. The location adds to the holiday magic vibes.
Jingle Jangle – Jump right in to the magical world of a toy maker and his adventurous granddaughter. When he’s close to losing it all, his granddaughter helps him created a toy. This will change their lives forever. This is a great choice for all ages!
Super Monsters Save Christmas – Super Monsters has quickly become a household name and favorite. Follow the Monsters for a fun filled holiday special. When Santa loses one of his reindeer, the Super Monsters join in on the search in hopes of saving Christmas!
Operation Christmas Drop – I think we could all use a tropical Christmas escape. When Erica,  a political aide heads to a beachside air base she meets Capt. Andrew Jantz. This work relationship quickly becomes more when the sun is shining and holiday vibes are in the air. Another great easy to watch romantic comedy.
Dear Santa –  This documentary is a sweet inside look to Operation Santa. Every year thousands of letters arrive through the United Post Office lettered to Santa. Operation Santa helps children’s dreams come true!
