It’s September and that means one thing: a new season of New York Fashion Week is upon us. Today, the official CFDA schedule kicks into high gear. New York Fashion Week schedule for Spring 2025 is set to run September 6-11.
You might be able to argue NYFW actually kicked off on Wednesday September 4. Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler debuted their Spring 2025 offering off-schedule (with the duo focusing heavily on craft, color and print ). Also opting to show off-calendar was Ralph Lauren. Yesterday, the designer welcomed guests to the Hamptons (a place integral to the Ralph Lauren DNA) for a show (once again) cementing himself as the reigning king of American luxury.
As announced back in June, Pieter Mulier of Alaïa will bring his Spring 2025 collection to New York, for a one-off event, set to be staged on September 6.
Day one of the official CFDA calendar will commence with Area, Brandon Maxwell, Badgley Mischka, Collina Strada and Willy Chavarria. On Saturday, Prabal Gurung, Tibi, Monse, Sergio Hudson, and Khatie (among others) will show their collections. Ulla Johnson will start proceedings on Sunday, with Jason Wu and Eckhaus Latta also showcasing their wares the same day. On Sunday, we will be able to bare witness to Off-White creative director Ib Kamara shy away from Paris, in favor of New York this season.
Carolina Herrera creative director Wes Gordon will no doubt get Monday off to a fine start. Presenting on the same day will be Coach, Tory Burch and LaQuan Smith. The highlight of Tuesday will no doubt be the Spring 2025 showcase of Michael Kors. Raul Lopez of Luar closing out day five. The final day of New York Fashion Week Spring 2025 will conclude with Ronald van der Kemp and Frederick Anderson.
