When I was in college, I had an extensive shrine to Ralph Fiennes in my dorm room — my friend Katherine and I actually went through microfiche to make it comprehensive; yes, we surely had actual homework to do. I actually met someone a few years after this shrine had be disassembled who had heard tell of it even though she and I had never met; it was legend. This does not approach that glory, but it was fun to revisit Young Fiennes given that Current Fiennes is in awards conversation for Conclave. Enjoy! PS: To be clear, my obsession began with Quiz Show, I did NOT think he was hot as a Nazi in Schindler’s List, although his performance is exceptional in that film. (He lost the Oscar to Tommy Lee Jones for The Fugitive, in which TLJ IS great but I’m not sure this win holds up.)
